How the photographs on this site are made, and what we refuse to do
Every image here is glamour and lifestyle work, made for these pages, with faces softened and no nudity anywhere. That is the whole style and it does not change from one profile to another.
This page exists because pictures are what guests are most often lied to about. Here is exactly what happens to ours.
What the sets show
Portraits, full length shots and a few seated or three quarter frames, in the sort of clothes each woman would actually wear to a Windsor dining room or a Slough hotel bar. Nothing explicit appears anywhere on this site and nothing suggestive is implied by the framing.
Faces are softened deliberately, all of them, whether or not a woman asks for it. There is a reason: the women on this desk have careers, courses and families in the rest of their lives, and staying unrecognisable is the condition on which any of them agreed to be listed here. The rest of the frame is left alone, so height, shape, hair, colouring, the way she carries herself and what she chose to wear are all as photographed. Her face is seen at close range, once, by the guest she is spending the evening with, and the woman who arrives is the woman in the pictures.
What is never altered
Body shape, height and colouring are left exactly as photographed. The figures on each profile, the height in centimetres, the build, the hair and the eyes, are checked against the set rather than written from memory. Age bands are accurate and stated as bands rather than precise numbers.
If a set has aged past the point where it represents her fairly, it gets reshot. It does not get retouched into currency, and an out of date set is taken down rather than left up while a new one is arranged.
What we refuse
Stock photography, bought galleries and images lifted from anywhere else: refused without exception, because they are the single most common way a guest is deceived. Explicit imagery: refused, because this site carries none and the service is not that.
Heavy reshaping of a face or body: refused, for the simple reason that it makes a liar of everybody by the time she knocks on the door. If what you saw is not what arrives, the booking ends immediately and it costs you nothing.
Her images stay hers
Any woman here can take a picture down whenever she likes, without explaining why, and the set goes the same day. Photographs are used on this site only, never sold, never syndicated and never passed to another company.
If you believe an image on these pages is being used without permission, write to the desk and it will be taken down while the question is looked at rather than afterwards.
Photographs of you
None are taken. No companion photographs a guest, a room, a door or a hotel, and no guest is asked for a picture of himself at any stage of a booking. Nothing about an evening is recorded anywhere beyond the date and the first name Etta needs to run the diary.
What may be done with the sets
Looked at here, and that is the end of the list. The images belong to the desk and to the women in them, so they are not to be copied, downloaded, republished or fed into a reverse image search, and that covers every frame in Who Is On.
Trying to establish who a companion is away from this site ends a booking, and so does filming her or photographing her without a written agreement from her. It stops at that moment under the conduct rule on the terms page, the figure stays where it is, and she owes no explanation for leaving.
