About Milena
At 175 cm Milena is used to being the tallest person in a hotel lift and has long since stopped adjusting for it. Curvy build, long black hair worn straight and heavy, brown eyes. She dresses for the environment: clean lines, dark colours, a coat that reads as travel rather than evening, because walking through an airport hotel lobby in full evening dress is a way of being remembered and she would rather not be.
Mid twenties, English, calm to the point of being restful. She has an unusual tolerance for other people's exhaustion and no interest in performing energy neither of you has. She is genuinely curious about where you have come from and where you are going next, and she has the traveller's habit of collecting other people's routes. Her humour is quiet and it arrives when you are too tired to defend yourself against it.
She works the terminal belt, most often from the hotel at TW6 2GD, which is attached to Terminal 5 by a walkway and is therefore the only hotel here you can reach without weather. Five minutes from the gate, no car, no negotiation. Home for her is South Kensington, fifty minutes away door to door once the Piccadilly line has done its part, and that journey is the reason an airport evening never runs shorter than three hours.
Terminal by terminal, Heathrow explains what she can reach without a car. £250 opens an hour and the three hour floor is set out on rates. Flight details go to booking.

Booking her
Milena keeps airport evenings to three hours or more, because anything shorter is mostly corridors. Give Etta a flight number rather than an estimate and the timing will hold even if you land late.
Her figures are the figures every companion here works to, printed in full on the rates page, and the order a booking runs in is set out on the booking page.

An evening with Milena
Airport evenings have their own physics and Milena has worked them out. You will have been awake too long, the room will be too warm, and the last thing you want is somebody being lively at you. So she starts slow. A drink downstairs, the phone face down, and a conversation that does not require you to be impressive. If you have eaten on the plane she will skip dinner entirely and say so. If you have not, she knows which kitchen here is still going at eleven and which one claims to be. Later it is unhurried and entirely private, and she leaves in her own time by the walkway rather than by a taxi rank in the rain. It is the least complicated evening on this desk.
Milena, three questions
01How late can an airport evening start?
Late. Half eleven is normal here. This is the one part of the country where nobody thinks that is an odd hour.
02Which terminal is easiest?
Five, because of the walkway. You can go from gate to a drink without standing outside once, which matters in February.
03Do you mind a guest who is wrecked?
Not remotely. Most people I meet here have crossed six time zones. Tired is the normal condition, not the exception.
