An evening with Thea
Dinner is the evening and everything else arranges itself around it. Thea gets to Shoppenhangers Road early, has a drink in the bar while the light goes, and by the time you sit down she has already read the menu twice. She orders with conviction. She talks all the way through and asks the sort of questions that get real answers, and somewhere around the second course the evening stops feeling like an arrangement and starts feeling like a dinner with someone you know. Afterwards there are grounds to walk in if the weather is kind and a fire if it is not.
