About Roxi
Roxi is the one people describe as striking and then struggle to be more specific. It is the hair, long and black and very heavy, against a curvy 168 cm frame and brown eyes that go straight to yours. She dresses simply and darkly for this corner of the county, on the sound reasoning that the walk from a car to a lobby here is short, cold and usually in front of an audience of tired strangers.
Early twenties, English, and livelier than the average guest expects at eleven at night. She has a real talent for waking an evening up without making it loud. She likes music, driving at night and the particular quiet of a road that is busy all day and empty after ten. She swears occasionally, laughs easily and is completely without side. She is genuinely good company at an hour when most people have stopped trying.
Her usual base is the plain one on the Old Bath Road, close and about eight minutes from the terminal, and she is honest that you are choosing it for the geography rather than the decor. Colnbrook has one genuinely old street and the rest is hotels, freight and the sound of the M25. She lives in Pimlico and comes out on the Piccadilly line, so airport evenings run three hours with travel counted in.

An evening with Roxi
Nobody comes to the Old Bath Road for the setting, and Roxi is refreshingly clear about that. What it has is proximity: eight minutes to Terminal 5, four to the motorway, and a village high street ten minutes away that is older than most of London. If there is time before dinner she will take you down it, because it is genuinely worth seeing and takes a quarter of an hour. Otherwise the evening stays indoors and she makes that work easily. She is warm, direct and good at late nights, and she does not flag at midnight the way most people do. When it ends, it ends cleanly, and her car is already outside. Breakfast hours here are as busy as dinner ones, which is worth knowing if your flight goes at seven.
